Hedd Wellness Studio and Spa will launch at Holm House in Penarth on Sunday, June 1, with an open day taking place on Saturday, May 31.
The open day will run from 12pm to 4pm and offers visitors a chance to explore the space, meet the team, and learn more about the facility’s approach to recovery, rehabilitation, and relaxation.
Ed Jones, director of Hedd Wellness Studio and Spa, said: “I’m incredibly excited to open next week – it feels like it’s been a long time in the making.
“I wanted to create a space that’s perfect for both recovery and relaxation, but the community aspect is just as important to me.
“Hedd feels like the ideal opportunity to bring the people of Penarth together, and I hope everyone comes down to see us at the Open Day this Sunday!””
Mr Jones’ vision for the studio was inspired by his personal experience of recovering from hamstring surgery, which involved frequent travel to treatment centres in Cardiff, Bridgend, and further afield.
That experience highlighted the need for more accessible wellness and recovery services in Penarth, leading to the creation of Hedd.
The open day is being held in collaboration with Holm House and Silures Penarth.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour selected rooms at Holm House and explore the hotel’s facilities.
Attendees will also receive 10 per cent off Sunday lunch at Silures Penarth as part of the event.
The afternoon is designed to bring together elements of luxury, wellbeing, and community spirit, offering visitors a glimpse of Penarth’s hospitality and wellness offerings.
Hedd Wellness Studio and Spa will officially open to the public on Sunday, June 1.
The open day on Saturday offers a rare chance to explore the facility and meet the team before full operations begin.
Mr Jones hopes the studio will become a valuable resource for the community and a space where residents can focus on both recovery and relaxation.
He encouraged residents to drop in during the open day to see the new facility and meet the people behind the project.
