Works to trees
Permission has been granted for tree maintenance at 56 Plymouth Road, Penarth, to manage trees within a conservation area.
The work includes reducing a 19-metre sycamore to previous pruning points, trimming overhanging limbs of an oak tree with fused stems, and removing deadwood from a second sycamore.
All works are to follow a previously submitted survey.
Approval has also been given to remove a laylandii fir tree to stump level in the rear garden of 2 Kymin Terrace.
The tree’s removal was permitted due to damage caused to nearby hardstanding.
Porch demolition and reconstruction
A development at 15 Purcell Road, Penarth, has received planning permission.
The approved works include demolishing the existing front porch and building a new single-storey porch, as well as demolishing the rear garage and shed to construct a new garage.
