The reconfigured property would feature a lower ground floor with one bedroom, a living room, kitchen/diner, and a shower room.
The ground floor would include an open-plan sitting/dining area, a study formed by the extension, and a balcony.
The first floor would comprise two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the second floor would house a bedroom and a dormer window.
Discharge of condition
An application has been lodged to discharge Condition 3 of a previous planning approval concerning biodiversity enhancement.
The original proposal, which related to the installation of a first-floor balcony to the rear of 27 John Batchelor Way in Penarth, required additional ecological measures.
The applicant now seeks to confirm that the submitted biodiversity details meet the required standards.
Rear box dormer
At 10 St Anne’s Avenue, Penarth, plans have been submitted to add a rear box dormer and increase the ridge height of the main roof by 300mm.
The works also include changes to the fenestration and associated works.
The refurbished link is being built on existing hardstanding.
The applicant would add a house sparrow nest box to the property as biodiversity enhancement.
Materials specified for the development include walls with render to match existing painted white, white upvc windows to match existing, charcoal concrete roof tiles, and dormer cheeks with cementitious Hardiebacker charcoal cladding to match the roof tiles.
