Lidl stops selling chocolate bar range after 6 years

The news comes as Lidl has stopped selling a chocolate bar range six years after it launched in UK supermarkets.

Its Fairtrade Way To Go! chocolate bars launched in 2020 and cost £2.69 each, but they aren’t on shelves anymore.

However, Lidl has reassured customers that it still believes in “ethical and sustainable sourcing across our cocoa supply chains”.

Lidl told The Sun that although customers can’t shop the range in its stores, it remains available to buy elsewhere.

“100% of our own-brand block chocolate continues to be Fairtrade Certified and we remain fully committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing across our cocoa supply chains.”
