The driver was taken to hospital with injuries after the crash that left debris strewn over the road
A driver has been taken to hospital after a dump truck overturned spilling rubble on to the road.
- On Monday, June 29, police received reports of a single-vehicle crash on Merlins Hill, Haverfordwest involving a truck.
- Dyfed-Powys Police said that a truck had overturned and spilled rubble on to the road. The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
- The road was closed from around 2.50pm for nearly two hours while the truck was recovered and debris was cleared from the road.
- Traffic built upon along the busy route until the road reopened around 4.15pm.
- A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of a single-vehicle collision on Merlins Hill, Haverfordwest at around 2.50pm on Monday 29 June.”
- It added: “A truck was reported to have overturned and spilled rubble on to the road. The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.”
