A driver has been taken to hospital after a dump truck overturned spilling rubble on to the road.
On Monday, June 29, police received reports of a single-vehicle crash on Merlins Hill, Haverfordwest involving a truck.
Dyfed-Powys Police said that a truck had overturned and spilled rubble on to the road. The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
The road was closed from around 2.50pm for nearly two hours while the truck was recovered and debris was cleared from the road.
Traffic built upon along the busy route until the road reopened around 4.15pm.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of a single-vehicle collision on Merlins Hill, Haverfordwest at around 2.50pm on Monday 29 June.”
It added: “A truck was reported to have overturned and spilled rubble on to the road. The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.”
