The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused as it carries out resurfacing work close to the swansea.com stadium

Drivers have been warned of potential disruption at a busy roundabout in Swansea. It comes as Swansea Council carries out resurfacing works. It will impact motorists who use Cwm Level roundabout and Ffordd Cwm Tawe, near the Swansea.com stadium.

Taking place until Thursday, May 14, the council said it was part of its “continued investment” in its road network, and warned that road closures would be necessary as the works were carried out.

It apologised for any inconvenience, as the works were carried out between the hours of 10pm and 6am. Never miss a Swansea story by signing up to our newsletter here.

A spokesman for Swansea Council said: “Starting from Monday, May 11, our highways maintenance teams will be working overnight (10pm – 6am) for four nights, at Cwm Level roundabout and Ffordd Cwm Tawe, completing resurfacing works to the main road alongside Swansea.com Stadium.

“The works are part of our continued investment in our road network.

“In order to complete the works safely and quickly, it will be necessary to close the A4067 between Martin Street and White Rock roundabout. There will be no access to Cwm Level Road and Neath Road junctions while the works are ongoing.

“Diversions will be in place for motorists travelling through this location.

“Apologies for any inconvenience while these works take place.”
