A man from Pontypool has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and causing serious injury by careless driving
Motorcyclist in hospital following a crash which saw a man arrested for careless driving:
- Police and paramedics responded to a crash between a car and a motorbike in Llantarnam Road, Cwmbran, at around 4.20pm on Thursday, March 19.
- A spokesman for Gwent Police confirmed the motorcyclist, a 60-year-old man from Cwmbran, had been taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
- A 35-year-old man from Pontypool, who was driving the car, has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and cause serious injury by careless driving. He remains in police custody.
