A 52-year-old man died at the scene of the collision which took place on the A4067 in Pontardawe
A man has died following a collision involving a motorbike and a car in Pontardawe. A police investigation into the collision is underway.
Officers were called to a collision between a motorbike and car close to the Glais Roundabout on the A4067 at 10.40pm on Friday, October 9.
A 52-year-old man, from Crook, Durham, died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
The road was closed in both directions between the Tesco roundabout and Mond Valley Golf Club but has since reopened.
A spokesperson from South Wales Police said: “An investigation into the collision is currently ongoing and officers are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage who is yet to speak to police to get in touch quoting reference 2600331858.”
