Man in hospital after crash near Ceredigion primary school

Police and paramedics were called to the scene and a section of the A487 was shut for four hours

A man has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash near a Welsh primary school.

The collision happened on the A487 in Ceredigion, near Llanarth Primary School, on Monday morning.

Police have confirmed that a man was taken to hospital following the crash, but no further information has been released about his condition.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We received a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A487 between Synod Inn and Aberaeron at approximately 8:30am on Monday, October 5.

“One person was taken to hospital for further medical attention.

“The road was closed while both cars were recovered and reopened at around 12:30pm.”
