The Elliot Dallen Trust presented the cheque to Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff and the Vale, based in Penarth, to cover the cost of running the facility for one day on September 7, 2026.
Jennifer Lenczner, chairman of the trust, visited the hospice to deliver the donation in person.

The Elliot Dallen Trust supports causes that were important to Elliot Dallen, who grew up in Cardiff and attended Llanishen High School.
He later earned a first-class degree in economics from the University of Exeter and became a chartered accountant in London.
Mr Dallen was diagnosed with a rare cancer, adrenocortical carcinoma, at the age of 29 and died on September 7, 2020, aged 31.
He was passionate about music, travel, sports, and spending time with loved ones.
Marie Curie supports people with any illness they are likely to die from including Alzheimer’s (and other forms of dementia), heart, liver, kidney and lung disease, motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, and advanced cancer.
The charity provides care in people’s homes, in its hospices and over the phone via its free Information & Support Line.
The Elliot Dallen Trust raises funds through sponsored personal challenges, donations and holding events such as Gala Dinners and Jazz Nights.
