A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash which closed a major route in Wales for a number of hours on Tuesday.
An air ambulance landed at the scene of the crash on the A5 near Ogwen Valley, Conwy. Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a red BMW motorcycle and a blue Ford Transit van at around 4.40pm.
The rider of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries, North Wales Police said on Wednesday.
The force is now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash camera footage to come forward to help with the investigation following the serious crash.
Roads Crime Unit Sergeant Leigh McCann said: ‘We are working to establish the full circumstances of this collision and would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or was travelling along the A5 near Ogwen Valley at the time to contact us. I am keen to hear from anyone with dash camera footage that may have captured either vehicle at the time of, or, prior to the collision.
