The building society is contacting customers this month about its life insurance offer
Nationwide customers could be entitled to a £75 gift if they sign up to an initiative. The bank has been getting in touch with many of its members saying it’s helping “make things a little easier”.
The world’s largest building society has been contacting customers this month, saying that “taking a few minutes now could give you and your loved ones peace of mind”. Nationwide is letting members know it offers family life insurance policies, provided by L&G, one of Britain’s leading insurers.
Customers who take out a policy will receive a “gift” worth £75, which is subject to certain conditions being met. For money-saving tips, sign up to our Money newsletter here.
Emails from Nationwide say that policies include access to a helpline where members can speak with qualified registered nurses. “Call for lifestyle advice, a reassuring chat, clinical assessment, or practical guidance on physical and mental health“.
Critical Illness Cover can also be added to a life insurance policy for an extra fee. The life insurance product carries a 5 Star rating from financial experts Defaqto, reports the Mirror.
According to Nationwide, getting a quote takes just two minutes. To sign upyou’ll need to decide on the level and length of cover you require, and whether you want to add Critical Illness Cover.
Once you’re happy with your quote, the bank boasts that setting up cover “can take just 20 minutes”.
Currently, Nationwide is offering a £75 gift card for M&S or Amazon for anybody who arranges life insurance online. The gift card will be sent out after six months, provided all premiums have been paid and the policy remains active.
Terms, limits and exclusions apply, and Nationwide has said it reserves the right to withdraw or amend products and offers at any point. Gift cards are limited to one per policy sold.
