Tutti Italian Penarth is operating as a seasonal venue and plans to remain open until September, making the most of the warmer months along the seafront.
Because of its limited opening window, the restaurant will run seven days a week, offering locals and visitors regular opportunities to dine overlooking Penarth Pier and the Bristol Channel.
Situated along the promenade, the venue combines traditional Italian cooking with relaxed coastal dining. Guests can enjoy long lunches, evening meals, or drinks in the sun while taking in views across the water.
The menu focuses on classic Italian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Specialities include Pollo al Taleggio, a chicken dish finished with the creamy northern Italian cheese, and Branzino di Napoli, featuring pan-fried sea bass served with mussels and king prawns.
The opening of Tutti Italian comes after a period of frequent restaurant changes along this stretch of Penarth’s seafront in recent years.
In February 2024, Amici D’Italia opened on 18 February after taking over the former Casa de Margarita site. Following a refurbishment, the venue relaunched as a full Italian restaurant and quickly became known locally as Am’s Italia or simply Amici.
Just over a year later, in March 2025, the site saw another change when Chef G’s Seafood and Grill opened, however, Chef G’s closed permanently in November 2025 after roughly eight months of trading. Reports at the time cited several challenges for the business, including flooding linked to Storm Claudia, the impact of seafront parking charges and rising operating costs.
The address also saw Severn View restaurant open in December 2024 for a brief period offering live music along with the food and the claim owner and manager Sid Ali Rachdi had mastery in cooking in 12 cuisines.
Now, with Tutti Italian opening on 1 March 2026 as a seasonal restaurant running through to September, the site once again returns to an Italian dining concept overlooking the pier.
