A pedestrian has suffered head injuries after being hit by a car in Powys on Wednesday morning. The incident happened at 9.15am on Wednesday on the A485 near Llanbydder.
The road was closed in both directions and traffic was slow in the area for some time between the Maesycrugiau turn-off at Llanybydder and Cefncoed Isaf.
Paramedics rushed to the scene to treat the male pedestrian whose injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing according to a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police whose officers were also at the scene.
The road has since reopened and all emergency services have left the scene.
