The restriction will affect right turns from Cardiff Road onto Redlands Road in Penarth from Friday, October 9, to Sunday, October 11, to allow Wales & West Utilities to carry out essential gas works.
Vehicles travelling from Dinas Powys along Cardiff Road towards Llandough will not be able to turn right onto Redlands Road during this period.
Left turns into Redlands Road from Llandough and Cogan Spur will not be affected.
School transport will be diverted via Llandough, Dochdwy Road, and Redlands Road, while Cardiff Bus services will be rerouted through Sully.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and to follow all temporary traffic signs in place.
