Lewis Ashford, 24, was last seen at 11.30am today (March 30) in the Llandough area.
Police believe that he may have been heading towards Penarth Road in Cardiff.
Mr Ashford has brownish ginger hair and has a beard. At the time he went missing he was wearing a green top and khaki trousers.
The force says that there are concerns for his welfare.
