Rain and snow predicted in weather forecast for Barry

Thursday will begin dry at first, with strengthening winds and some rain moving in over night.

The day will start with heavy, persistent rain and strong winds, especially near hills and the coast. The rain is expected to ease up in the afternoon, but will return in the evening. The maximum temperature will be 13°C, but will begin to turn colder overnight. 

On Friday, the weather will turn colder with blustery showers, including some snow on the hills. Rain will become lighter through the day, with spells of sunshine causing the day to become brighter and drier as it progresses. Maximum temperature will be 8°C.

Saturday morning will start frosty, then will become mainly dry and bright. However, it will become cloudy in the afternoon with occasional light rain. The highest temperature for the day will be 10°C.

Sunday is set to be a cloudy day with outbreaks of both rain and hill snow predicted. The day’s highest temperature will be 12°C.

On Monday, expect a generally cloudy day, with a chance of some sunshine early on. However, the clouds will persist, with some rain likely in the afternoon, moving into the evening and night. Maximum temperature will be 11°C.
