Road closed in Ynyshir as police deal with collision – live updates

A road as been closed in both directions, following a collision, police have confirmed. Emergency services are currently at the scene on Ynyshir Road in the village of Ynyshir, near Porth.

Officers from South Wales Police confirmed that the road is currently closed in both directions, and traffic is being diverted to Aber-Rhondda Road.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
