Drivers have been warned that a busy Swansea road will be closed every night this week. A schedule of roadworks will take place at Carmarthen Road between Monday, September 21 and Sunday, September 27.
Plane and lay works will take place on the westbound side of the road from 8pm until 6am on Monday and Tuesday. This will be followed by lay works on Wednesday during the same time.
Then, on Thursday and Friday, plane and lay works will take place on the eastbound side of the road from 8pm until 6am. Never miss a Swansea story by signing up to our newsletter here.
There will be a break to the works on Saturday, before the works continue on the eastbound side of the road on Sunday during the same time period.
The programme of works is subject to change, the council says, with the potential for works to be cancelled on a particular night if poor weather is forecast.
Delays are also occasionally experienced due to unforeseen operational issues, it adds.
