Police were called to Osprey Court in Barry at around 2.30am on July 20 after reports of anti-social behaviour.
While dispersing a group at the scene, officers carried out a stop and search and arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
The teenager has since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
South Wales Police say tackling anti‑social behaviour is a key priority and are encouraging people to use Project Pinpoint to report problems in their communities.
Project Pinpoint is a force campaign designed to make it easier for residents to understand how and where to report anti‑social behaviour, what happens next, and how those reports feed into crime data used to plan local responses.
Reports of ASB can lead to targeted patrols, partnership work with councils and housing providers, and community‑focused initiatives aimed at reducing nuisance and disorder.
The force is urging anyone who witnesses persistent ASB to come forward rather than assuming nothing will be done, reminding people that “every report counts” when it comes to improving safety and quality of life.
