Tellmi, a digital peer-support platform, will soon be available across Barry and surrounding areas thanks to funding from the Texel Foundation and The LEN Foundation.
The service, aimed at those aged 11 and over, is being launched in partnership with local charity Cadogs Corner.
Emily Bild, foundation manager at Texel Foundation, said: “Texel Foundation is strongly committed to improving mental health outcomes for children and young people, who too often face barriers to the support they need.
“Our partnership with Tellmi and Cadog’s Corner represents a powerful opportunity to change that.”
Tellmi is designed to help users share experiences, seek advice, and receive support in a safe, anonymous, and professionally moderated environment.
Dr Suzi Godson, founder and co-CEO of Tellmi, said: “We’re proud to partner with Texel Foundation, The LEN Foundation, and Cadogs Corner to make mental health support more accessible than ever in Barry and the surrounding areas.
“Together, we’re ensuring that anyone over 11 can find a safe space to talk, listen, and heal.”
The programme also involves active engagement with schools, youth groups, and community organisations.
Free workshops, resources, and campaign activities will be delivered throughout the community.
