The conditions in question concern materials, landscaping, and means of enclosure.
The applicants believe that the submitted documents are enough to satisfy the relevant conditions.
Lean-to conservatory
A proposal has been submitted for a lean-to conservatory at 3 Ffordd Y Dociau in Barry.
The structure will extend from the lounge into the rear garden.
The conservatory will feature matching red face brick walls, white uPVC double-glazed doors and windows, and a slate grey roof with two flush glazed inserts.
The applicant has also committed to installing a bird box as part of the development.
Garage and extension
At St Nicholas on Romilly Park Road, Barry, an application has been submitted to demolish the existing front garage and replace it with a new front extension, incorporating both single- and two-storey elements.
The remodelled ground floor will include a living room, kitchen/dining area, playroom, and utility room, while the first floor will accommodate three bedrooms and a bathroom.
The proposal includes a landscaping plan to offset the loss of garden space, with the aim of improving green coverage by 10 per cent.
A range of features is proposed to boost biodiversity, including shrub planting, hanging baskets, two swift-type bird boxes, and bee hotel clusters.
Rear conservatory
Plans have been submitted to add a conservatory to the rear elevation of 9 Heol Ty Draw, Barry.
The conservatory is designed to have minimal impact on the existing garden and will use face-brick base walls to match the main house.
Windows and door frames will be in white uPVC, with 24mm toughened clear low E safety glass, argon filled.
Solid white uPVC panels to the left and right side frames have been included to ensure neighbour privacy.
