A large lorry has become stuck on a narrow street in a Welsh town centre after apparently colliding with scaffolding, The incident happened on Good Friday, April 3, in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
Emergency services were called to Mariners Square in the town at around 3pm, with police saying Tower Hill – which leads onto Mariners Square – was “closed due to a traffic collision”.
Images taken at the scene show a lorry – belonging to Dutch company John Pronk Transport according to what is written on the side – stuck on a narrow section of a one-way road next to the Greyhound Inn pub and the Hotel Mariners.
Police have not confirmed if the vehicle crashed into the scaffolding, but images from the scene show the lorry stuck on the tight bend directly next to a building with scaffolding outside.

The Greyhound Inn opposite where the incident occurred remains open as normal, but a member of staff said the vehicle was still stuck on Friday night, with one witness saying more scaffolding needed to be erected to make the area safe before the lorry could be moved.
