A police incident is causing major traffic problems on the A4058 in both directions this afternoon, with long queues building in the area.
Emergency services, including police and the fire service confirmed that they attended a collision on Station Road in Porth’s town centre, which involved a private vehicle and a building. Officers stated that there were no injuries.
The nearby A4058 was partially blocked from the B4278 Porth Street to the A4233 High Street, leading to knock-on effects on surrounding routes.
According to the AA, there are also severe delays of around 12 minutes on Rhondda Road westbound between the A4058 Sardis Road and the A4058, where average speeds have dropped to just 10mph. The incident was first reported at 3.56pm on March 31.
