Two people have been taken to hospital after a collision left a busy stretch of A470 near the M4 in Cardiff closed overnight.
Emergency services were called to a collision involving two cars on the Coryton Interchange, Tonygwynlais, Cardiff, shortly before 1am on Wednesday, May 20. The A470 was closed in both directions for a number of hours with drivers having to exit the road before re-joining using the slip roads.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area. The road was remained blocked between Tongwynlais and Northern Avenue until around 7am.
South Wales Police has said two people were taken to the hospital following the crash. Their injuries are not thought to be serious, a police spokesman added.
The force said a man was also reported for failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
