A busy stretch of the A470 near Cardiff was closed overnight after a collision involving multiple vehicles
Two people have been taken to hospital after a collision left a busy stretch of A470 near the M4 in Cardiff closed overnight.
- Emergency services were called to a collision involving two cars on the Coryton Interchange, Tonygwynlais, Cardiff, shortly before 1am on Wednesday, May 20. The A470 was closed in both directions for a number of hours with drivers having to exit the road before re-joining using the slip roads.
- Drivers were asked to avoid the area. The road was remained blocked between Tongwynlais and Northern Avenue until around 7am.
- South Wales Police has said two people were taken to the hospital following the crash. Their injuries are not thought to be serious, a police spokesman added.
- The force said a man was also reported for failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
