A major road is closed both ways
A vehicle has burst into flames next to a petrol station forecourt.
Emergency services were called shortly before 2pm today (Thursday, May 21) to the Esso fuel station on the A487 at Penrhyndeudraeth, Gwynedd.
Images show a vehicle, thought to be a camper van, engulfed in fire a matter of yards from the forecourt pumps. The A487 is closed both ways as a result.
Locals told our sister website North Wales Live that fire crews were on the scene. You can follow their live coverage here.
