Warning for Bristol Airport passengers after police incident

There could be significant delays for those heading to the airport

People heading to Bristol Airport have been warned to expect to delays on Friday morning due to an ongoing police incident. Parts of the A370 in Bristol have been closed due to the incident.

A closure has been in place between Brunel Way and Colliters Way since shortly before 5am.

Bristol Airport has warned passengers to allow extra time for their journeys and is asking people to use an alternative route if possible. Diversions are in place.

A social media post said: “Due to a police incident between Brunel Way and Colliters Way Bristol on the A370 we have been advised of a diversion route in place as parts of the route is closed.

“Please allow additional time for your journey to the Airport and use an alternative route if possible.”
