Swansea council said emergency services have closed New Cut Road due to what it described as an “ongoing issue”.
“This has created traffic congestion in the area and could impact motorists travelling into the city for today’s Swansea Half Marathon event,” the council added.
Emergency services are on site diverting traffic.
