Waverley will set sail on Friday, June 12, from Penarth at 4.30pm for a special fundraising cruise to mark 40 years since the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society saved her sister ship, MV Balmoral.
The journey will travel up the River Usk and under the Newport Transporter Bridge, a route Waverley has not taken in 10 years.
The cruise will then stop at Clevedon Pier at 7.15pm, picking up passengers for a scenic voyage around the Holm Islands.
MV Balmoral trustee Dave Bassett said: “All the money raised will go towards restoring the ship to its former sailing condition, so we can look forward to her joining Waverley on future cruises in the Bristol Channel and around the British coast.”
Waverley will return to Penarth at 8.15pm and Clevedon at 10.15pm.
Funds raised will support volunteer efforts to restore MV Balmoral, currently moored in Bristol Harbour near M Shed.
The long-term goal is to return the vessel to Bristol Channel service by 2028.
Tickets for the cruise start at £46 for adults and £23 for children from Penarth, and £43 for adults and £21.50 for children from Clevedon.
Bookings can be made at waverleyexcursions.co.uk or by calling 0141 243 2224.
It will also feature in the Bristol Harbour Festival from July 17 to 19, taking part in community water events, including cardboard boat races built by schoolchildren through the MyFutureMyChoice educational project.
