This winter was wetter than average in Wales, with the Met Office reporting there was 20 per cent more rainfall than its winter average
However, this Tony Wisson, a deputy chief forecaster with the Met Office, said this week should see “a welcome change” in the weather.
“This week is the start of meteorological spring, and the forecast is set to reflect the seasonal shift,” he said.
“Over the next few days, the conditions are likely to become noticeably more settled, offering a welcome change from recent unsettled weather.
“We’re looking at a slightly warmer week, with highs of up to 19C on Thursday.”
