More trains than usual need repairs, Transport for Wales has said

Transport For Wales has warned of disruption to its services on a key Welsh route on Wednesday. It will cause problems for people travelling between Newport and Ebbw Vale Town.
All services will be cancelled in both directions between the two destinations. It is expected that will continue until 11.59pm.

A statement reads: “Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Newport (South Wales) (NWP) and Ebbw Vale Town (EBB).
“Services will be cancelled in both directions between Newport (South Wales) (NWP) and Ebbw Vale Town (EBB).
“We expect the incident to last until 11.59pm July 1 and disruption to services is expected.”
It clarifies that services between Ebbw Vale Town and Maesteg are not affected.
