Aldi shoppers told ‘check receipts’ as it brings in £100 new rule ‘until January’

A boss at Aldi said ‘we want parents to know there’s still time to apply’

Parents are being urged to check their receipts for the chance to win a £100 Aldi shopping voucher – with a winner picked every week until January 2027. The supermarket’s Mamia New Parent Fund is designed to help families with the cost of everyday baby essentials, including nappies and wipes.

To enter, parents simply need to email mamiaparentfund@aldi.co.uk with a receipt for a Mamia product bought at a UK Aldi store within the previous seven days. One winner is selected at random each week and receives a £100 voucher to spend in any UK Aldi store.

The reminder comes as Aldi analysis suggests parents could save more than £550 in their baby’s first year by choosing Mamia nappies, baby wipes and formula instead of leading branded equivalents. Aldi relaunched the fund in January 2026 after receiving thousands of applications in its first year.

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know there is a lot for parents to think about when welcoming a new baby, and the cost of everyday essentials, such as nappies and baby wipes, can quickly add up.

“Our Mamia New Parent Fund is one way we’re helping with those costs. With a £100 voucher up for grabs every week, we want parents to know there’s still time to apply.

“If you’ve bought a Mamia product in store recently, keep your receipt and enter for a chance to win.”

Aldi’s Mamia range includes nappies, wipes, baby food and toiletries. For full terms and conditions see the prize draw website.

Aldi said the estimated savings were calculated by comparing Aldi’s Mamia range, including nappies, baby wipes and baby formula, with an average of leading branded equivalents. Nappy usage was based on NHS guidance of approximately 3,300 nappies in a baby’s first year. Baby wipe and formula usage was informed by consumer research commissioned by OnePoll in April 2026 among 1,000 parents with children aged under two. Aldi said prices were correct as of 14/05/2026 and may vary.
