Gents Day
Get ready for laughs and bold fashion at Gents Day, open to over-18s at Porthkerry Leisure Park. Taylor Marcs will bring an adult comedy show, and a buffet is included in the £25 ticket. The fun doesn’t stop there – DJ Andrea keeps the music going. Don your best (or worst) shirt and join in. The event takes place on Saturday, July 4, from 11am.

Scout and Guide Fete 2026
Romilly Park will be buzzing for the 71st annual Scout and Guide Fete. Enjoy family fun, arena activities, and plenty of stalls, all in support of local groups. Programmes are £2 in advance or £3 at the gate, with under-5s free and a chance to win up to £200 in the prize draw. The event takes place on Saturday, July 4, from 1pm.

10th Anniversary Open Weekend
Celebrate a decade of stitching at Rooftop Atelier Sewing School’s open weekend. Try the popular Strawberry Pincushion workshop for £7, enjoy a cuppa, and browse their Haberdashery. The drop-in event is open to everyone, whether you want to sew or just find out more about classes. The event takes place on Sunday, July 5, from 11am.

“Thank Folk it’s Friday” with Blanche Rowen and Mike Gulston
Head to Coaltrain’s Coffee Shop for ‘an eclectic musical feast’ – from folk harmonies to French café waltzes. The show offers “unique blends of traditional songs from England and Wales.” Entry is free but donations keep the music alive. The show starts on Friday, July 3, from 11am.
