A 39-year-old man has been arrested
A six-year-old boy has died after being hit by a vehicle. North Wales Police were called shortly after 5pm this evening, Thursday October 1 following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a child in Llanfairfechan.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested and it helping with police enquiries. Police and the ambulance service attended the scene but despite the best efforts of the emergency services, a six-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Inspector Tim Evans from North Wales Police’s serious collision investigation unit said: “Our thoughts are with the young boy’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
“An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to contact us by calling 101, quoting reference O162122”
