M4 crash live updates as motorway brought to a standstill

A crash has brought the M4 to a standstill on Friday morning leaving drivers in standstill traffic.

Drivers travelling westbound on the motorway have been put at a standstill J42 Earlswood and J43 Llandarcy as emergency services work at the scene.

A spokesperson for Traffic Wales said: “M4 between J42 Earlswood and J43 Llandarcy travelling Westbound.

“Traffic is currently on stop. There are long delays in the area.

“Allow extra time for your journey.”
