The M4 is currently closed in one direction due to a multi-vehicle accident. All traffic is currently being held on the westbound carriageway between junctions 24 (Coldra) and 25 (Caerleon).
Police and paramedics can be seen in attendance at the crash and Traffic Wales has warned drivers that congestion is building on the approach.
Around an hour or so before the collision, two lanes were closed on the same stretch of motorway due to a separate accident. The lanes had since reopened but the carriageway is now fully closed.
