A pedestrian has been injured in a crash on a busy road in Cardiff
Police and paramedics were called to the scene of a crash in Wellfield Road in Roath at around 1pm on Tuesday.
The crash involved a pedestrian and a car.
Wellfield Road was closed as emergency services worked at the scene leaving a number of cars at a standstill.
The pedestrian involved in the crash suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.
The road has now reopened after the short closure.
A South Wales Police spokesman said: “Officers were called to Wellfield Road, Roath, at 1.07pm on Tuesday to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian. Paramedics also attended and one person was taken to hospital. The road has now reopened.”
