by David Jones

The case is being treated as murder.

A Crimestoppers reward of £20,000 remains on offer for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

South Wales Police said: “It’s two years today since the last sighting of Charlene Hobbs.

“Charlene, from Cardiff, is a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a friend to many.

“Like us, they are desperate for answers.”

The last confirmed sighting of Ms Hobbs was in a phone photo taken on the morning of July 24, 2024, at a property in the Adamsdown area of the city.

The day before, July 23, 2024, she was seen on CCTV at the Morrisons Local, Adamsdown.

Enquiries remain ongoing.

South Wales Police added: “We’re still appealing for anyone who might know anything about Charlene’s disappearance to get in touch. Even the smallest piece of information, however insignificant it may appear, could prove to be vital.
