Royal Balti was awarded for Outstanding Achievement in the Outstanding Takeaway of the Year category at the British Curry Championship, recognising their innovation, dedication, and excellence within one of the country’s most cherished and popular food industries.
The winners were awarded at a ceremony held at the Grand Station, Wolverhampton, at the end of June, bringing together leading figures from across the hospitality industry.

Royal Balti is no stranger to winning awards.
Since they became part of Barry’s growing food scene in 2003, they’ve taken home a range of awards with the most recent including a Good Food Award Gold Seal, being named Best Takeaway of the Year 2025 at the Welsh and Midlands Curry Awards, and maintaining their five-star food hygiene rating year after year.
