Suspected Ebola case is being monitored at a London hospital after ‘exposure in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’

A suspected Ebola case is being treated at a London hospital after a humanitarian worker was ‘exposed’ to the disease in DR Congo, the UK Health Security Agency said.  

The British resident is being ‘assessed’ in the capital after he flew to the African nation in response to an outbreak of the disease. 

The worker is being monitored by infectious disease specialists in what the agency has described as a ‘precautionary measure’.
