South Wales Police were called to an address on Main Street at approximately 9.05am today (May 2) to reports of a fire at a property.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics also attended.
A man was found deceased inside the property.
His next of kin has since been informed.
A join investigation is now underway between South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
Officers from South Wales Police say that the road at Main Street will remain closed for some time while investigations take place.
